Rev. Janetta Cravens Boyd
Senior Minister

Janetta is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and is quickly becoming one of the denomination’s leading voices in progressive theology. Janetta and her husband Will are the providers for Simon, a black lab, and Sierra, a husky who sheds no matter the weather. Both Janetta and Will are rock climbers, cyclists, and outdoors enthusiasts.
Janetta is devoted to making progressive faith mainstream and believes that God’s love is inclusive and without boundaries. Janetta believes that in a world that is getting smaller, religion must become more tolerant, more understanding, and more based on a common humanity.
Deeply committed to sustainable living, Janetta loves organic gardening and riding her bike whenever possible. This love for the earth stems from her belief that God’s love and God’s creation are intricately connected. To Janetta, Faith means caring for each other and caring for our earth.
Along with being a minister and educator, Janetta is also a Christian Coach. It is in this role as coach that Janetta helps move organizations forward and churches and communities towards transformational processes that are based in faith.
