Christmas Eve Candlelight Service - 10:00 p.m.

All are invited to celebrate the Blessed Birth with our Christmas Eve service in the sanctuary at 10:00 pm Saturday, December 24th.

We will enjoy refreshments and fellowship in the lounge afterwards.

All proceeds will go to the Borto Project which supports a children’s orphanage and school in Harrisburg, Liberia.

Movie Night! Part 3 of The 10 Commandments

The Children and Youth Mission Team and the Fellowship Mission Team have been co-sponsoring a Sunday night movie series in the Lower Lounge. We will have a shared soup supper and watch Part 3 of THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.

Given the length of this video, it was watched in three parts. The last is Sunday, November 20th. This event is open to youth, their families, and the larger congregation and friends.

We will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Lower Lounge with the soup so we can be done by 8:00 p.m. because it is a school night.

CELEBRATION OF JANETTA’S MINISTRY

On Sunday, November 6, our coffee hour after the worship service will be an opportunity to celebrate Janetta’s ministry with us and to wish her well in her future endeavors. At that time, we will be presenting her with a “good-bye” gift from the members of the congregation. We invite you to contribute to that gift between now and then by giving cash or writing a check to University Christian Church (indicating that the check is for “Janetta’s gift”), and leaving your financial contribution in the church office. Thank you in advance for your generosity, and join us on November 6, both for the worship service and the coffee hour to follow.
