CROP WALK is coming October 3rd!

Join us in supporting the 15th annual West Seattle CROP WALK!  The walk supports local hunger relief services as well as international hunger fighting agencies such as Church World Services.  How can you help?  Ask other to sponsor you for the 1 to 5 mile walk/run or donate on line or in person.  Registration begins at 1:00 p.m. and the walk/run starts at 1:30 p.m. at the Alki United Church of Christ which is located at 6115 Southwest Hinds Street, Seattle, WA 98116.  See you there!

Homecoming Sunday

Join University Christian Church as we begin our fall schedule Sunday, September 12th.  Adult Forums start at 9:30 a.m. and Worship begins at 11:00 a.m.  On this Sunday the Adult Forum time will feature the ministries of our congregation.

Simple Worship

This Sunday evening, August 8th, at 5:30 pm University Christian church will host its third "Simple Worship" service.  Simple worship is open to all--its only goal is to explore the various ways we can come before God and simply worship with one another through the traditions and spiritual practices of our faith.  

Please join us for an evening of worship before God and fellowship with one another.

Listening Sessions

As part of our on- going process of discerning our purpose as a congregation, and
to continue the work begun at our congregational retreat, we are inviting all active
participants of the church to attend at least one listening session.

A listening session seeks to listen deeply to each other and to God so that
together, we grasp what God is calling us to do, what our reason for being is as a
congregation, our core purpose as a church. It is important that each member of our
church, even if they went to the retreat, participate in the discernment process at this level
of the evolving conversation.

Experimental Worship

An alternative worship service open to everyone that uses creativity and fun to explore different forms and styles for worship.  It is children friendly, and requires no prior experience with church or religious background.  The service is from 5:30 to 6:30 in the Lounge at University Christian and will be offered the last Sunday of every month through May.
